As I said before, the beat is sick. You did yo thang on the drums man and the cutting up aint bad either, it's pretty damn catchy. I won't be suprised if I find my self whistling this later today lol. Good work man, 5'd it.

This is pure fire man. Especially those drums. Straight up magma, lol. Like KillBill said, the brass could've sounded more full and stuff, but it aint bad. The main synth melody could've changed some throughout the song to change it up more, but I don't mind very much. Kick Ass Drums + Okay Melody = One hell of a track. Good job.

the brass is an ensemble patch then there's a bari sax underneath. maybe I'll layer something lower with it (trombone?) or just EQ up some bass. You and KillBill write the kind of reviews that the audio portal was meant for

This is one phat beat right here. Diggin the synth and the the gunshots. The the drums were kinda plain though. And while the beat was really cool, I was expecting it to pick up into a more hyped beat, with some fast ass hi hats or something. This beat sounds more like an intro to a song or something. But that's just me. I still think this beat is really tighy though, especially those sample voices you used, very different. Good job, looking fowards to hearing what Chuck is making.

Thanks for the review. Yeah, the drums were hard to really nail down going with the rest of the track, and I'm not entirely sure I woulda stuck with them if I'd spent more time on it, but as it was I had already changed the layout, instros, and most of the track from it's original sound at least 3 times. I had to stop and put it down/finalize it at some time since it was a battle track and not a contracted beat. I am also looking forward to chuck's track. Again, I appreciate the review.

Pretty good

Real nice melody man. I really like that piano and the sax. Like Knowledge said, some pads will go really nice with this track, just look around for some, I'm sure whatever your using has some nice, chill ones. The drums are good the way they are, nice and simple. Like Bill said, add a bit of reverb to them to help them match the piano better. Great job man, looking fowards to more!

Great song

Nice ambient bells, cool drum pattern. Overall great song man. Nice and clear sounding. There seems to be a few off notes like K-DM and I didn't read your note thingy so don't get mad, lol. Good job man. A few minor problems but I liked it nonetheless.

I mean the melody's allright but nothing special and the verse is basically just the bassline with the drums, but it's not bad. Keep it up man, your drums are starting to sound hip hopish, lol.

Yo man, this beat is really good. Nice melody and choice of instruments. The drums are great and catchy. The inly problem is you need to EQ your songs. In the chorus, it sounds waaaay to clustered. You gotta learn to compress and use treble, bass, ect. Once you have that down, you'll be a complete beast!

I understand your new to this but this isn't too bad. You got the melodies pretty good. The drums were allright but could've used some work. Try using a normal pattern like this:

Kick: [x][][][x][][][x][][][][x][][][x][][]
Snare: [][][][][x][][][][][][x][][][][][]
Hi Hat: [x][x][x][x][x][x][x][x][x][x][x][x][
x][x][x][x]

(The [] are a note on the redrum and the [x] are where you should put the note)

Just keep practicing diffrent patterns until you find some that sound more hip hopish and that you like.

Your snares!

I don't think it's possible to use a lighter snare, lol. But great track man. Great composing and the sax wasn't bad at all. I really liked it. Great melody and choice of instruments but the snare could've been a bit louder. It sounds more like and 808 click or rimshot or something but not much like a snare. But I guess it's your style and it really isn't that bad, it's just I'm not used to it, I guess.

Hahaha, yeah, see any of my comments to KillBill...he is always complaining about my despise of snares. But these drums are really placeholders right now, haven't really put alot of effort into the drums as much as the classical section of the composition. Thanks for the review.
